Why are there no prices on these menus?

• There are a lot of options when planning a wedding or other event. TasteBuds believes in giving the client one price per person and that is the bottom line. We don’t like surprises and we know that you don’t either. Items such as linens, table and chair rental, china, glassware, service, how many guests will be attending, and floral arrangements need to be taken into consideration in your planning. We want to include such things in your price so that there aren’t any sneaky little “extras” tacked on to surprise you.

What about a bar?

• TasteBuds would be happy to provide a bar if needed but we are also one of the few caterers around that encourages the client to provide their own alcohol to help cut costs. We must charge a flat fee per person for a bar in order to cover the cost of purchasing the alcohol, necessary license, and insurance fluctuations. If you provide your own alcohol not only will you save money but you get to keep what is left over for return or future consumption. In turn, we can provide a bar set up which includes ice, mixers, soft drinks, garnish, & bar implements as well as glassware & bar linen.

What if I don’t see what I’m looking for on your menu?

• Our menu, while extensive, is merely a suggestion of items that have been popular in the past. Our chefs at TasteBuds are creative and dynamic. We would be thrilled to honor your special requests. Just ask…most likely ye shall receive!

Does TasteBuds provide flowers and cakes?

• Yes and no. If you are interested in minimizing your efforts in planning a party we’d love to contract these services for you. We don’t arrange flowers or bake wedding cakes ourselves because these are not things we specialize in – if we are not perfect at something – we don’t take it on. TasteBuds has fabulous working relationships with area florists and bakeries who provide a consistently wonderful product. As mentioned in a previous answer these services can be worked into your price per person to make it an “all-inclusive” price.

Is a personal appointment necessary?

• No. Especially if you are planning a small party. We can give you price quotes and help with rounding out your menu over the phone. If you are planning a wedding most likely we will suggest that you come in and meet us. Getting to know a bride and groom and their families is very important to us. We want you to feel comfortable with us – we’re helping you plan one of the most memorable occasions of your life! If your schedule is tight we can also come to you.
